Katie Donohoe owns and operates Growing Minds Educational Farm, a 501C3. She began the award winning horticulture program at Wando High School and spent almost a decade working with hundreds of students including many exceptional education students of all ages and abilities. She now runs programs at her farm, one being an all inclusive program with the city of Mount Pleasant.
Kat is a Recreation Therapist and spent years working in the community with adults with special needs. HEART- an all inclusive arts community was one of my biggest ventures that I helped with for years. I also worked one-on-one as a life skills therapist with adults with special needs. This past year, I opened my own program called Kat’s Outdoor Therapeutic Adventures and I operate at Katie’s farm (Growing Minds).
