When I started my private practice in Charleston in 2019, I quickly discovered from clients just how difficult it is to find:
Like minded friends with similar skill set and interests
Parents who “get it” and share similar parenting experiences
Social activities where neurodiverse individuals feel accepted and a sense of belonging
Trained professionals with extensive experience and expertise in neurodiversity whose focus is strength based and confidence/skill building
Reliable, research based information
I’ve had more than one parent tell me that they have felt like they have been on an island trying to navigate and support their neurodiverse child/teen. It takes a village. At LNN, our mission is to provide the resources and connections for you to create the village that is the right fit for you.
I would like to take a moment to introduce you to the board of professionals who volunteer their time to bring you the Lowcountry Neurodiverse Network. I could not have made this vision become reality without this incredible team.
